Here’s what you should know about keeping certain Steam library titles visible only to yourself.
But what does setting a game as private on Steam do?

But the new feature lets you mark specific titles while keeping the remainder of your library visible.
For each private game, Steam hides your in-game status, playtime, and other activity.
Then selectManage > Mark as Private.
In the popup box, select theMark as Privatebutton.
I noticed that the feature doesn’t work immediately if you are currently playing the game.
So it’s best to exit the game before setting a title as private.
When you re-enter the game, it should no longer show up in your status.
Steam also allows you to set a game as private when you’re buying it.
I recommend using this option so that it’s private as soon as it is added to your library.
When retroactively marking a game as private, some information might slip through.
Because my friend owned the same game, he could see that I had purchased and played it.
This might be a bug resulting from the game previously being set to public visibility.
To avoid this, you should mark a game as private when you initially purchase it.
In the popup that appears, hit the drop-down menu that saysFor my accountand selectFor my account: private.
Then continue with the checkout as usual.
This will keep a game private from the beginning.
This takes you to a list of your games.
Use the search bar to bang out in the name of the game you want to check.
Click this icon if you want to stop hiding the game.

Right-hit the title and then selectManage > Unmark as Private.
