Regular or XL?

The Magnus Pro desk comes in two sizes: regular and XL.

The Regular version is 59.1 inches wide by 27.6 inches deep.

New Roku streaming sticks.

The most common complaints you will find about Secretlab products all have to do with shipping issues.

Ours was not immune to this.

Thankfully, the desk wasnt damaged, but the box it arrived in worried me.

The box had a huge hole punched in the middle and was covered in muddy footprints.

The Magnus XL Pro comes in two large boxes with a few simple parts.

The second box contains two motorized legs, table feet, a desk mat, and the power cable.

Assembly of the desk is extremely straightforward and surprisingly fast, considering how large it is.

The manual suggests that assembly should only take fifteen minutes and require at least two people.

Once all the pieces are together, it’s as simple as plugging it in.

The control panel has a digital display of the desk height, and six buttons.

The touchscreen display and buttons look great when lit up.

The power cord for the desk plugs neatly into the base of one of the motorized legs.

This cable tray is the first feature of a larger cable management system that Secretlab uses masterfully.

Personally, as a former mousepad user, I love the Magpad.

If you are looking at getting the most basic package for the Magnus XL Pro, this is it.

This would be the end of the review.

Its a sleek, minimalistic-looking sit-stand desk with a crazy amount of surface area.

Since its Secretlab we’re talking about here, four of the five accessories well be covering use magnets.

Cable Management Add-Ons

Secretlab has a few different options for cable management accessories.

First up are the Cable Anchors.

These are a catch-all solution for keeping cables in place that run along the surface of your desk.

They have surprisingly strong magnets in their base so that they stick to any part of the desk.

In addition to anchors, there are also Cable Sheaths.

Adding a pack of Secretlab Cable Anchors and Sheaths adds another twenty-five dollars each to the total package.

Magnus Monitor Arms

Secretlabs compatible monitor arms fit perfectly with the Magnus Pro.

The way it further utilizes the cable tray space is also extremely satisfying.

The Magnus Monitor Arms come in a single or double-arm variant and have two magnetic cable sheaths inside.

The Magnus Monitor Arm dual variant is a $250 upgrade.

I guess Im a sucker for RGB lights because this makes the whole desk look so cool.

It costs an additional $89.

hole

Sliding your PC in and out of the mount is simple and feels secure.

Im a fan of mounting PCs for both aesthetic and practical reasons.

If that appeals to you, you cant go wrong with the Secretlab Premium PC Mount.

The Ultimate Gaming Desk?

The XL in the title is well deserved, but despite its size remains easy to put together.

For the tidiest, most aesthetically pleasing gaming desk ever, Secretlab has you covered.

The only point of consideration is the extravagant price.

The basic package of Magnus Pro XL with the Magpad Desk Mat works out at around $1,000.

With all of the accessories featured in this review, the total rises to $1,500.
