RSS is one of those web technologies that boomed many years ago but isnt a top priority anymore.
But news aggregation doesnt end there.
Any blog on the web can be inputted into a news aggregator as long as they have a feed.
For web-based RSS aggregation, my go-to site is Google Reader.
For that,Omea Readeris one of the best on Windows.
Omea Reader has a lot of features.
But I assure you, youll pick it up in no time.
I went from utterly confused to zipping on through in less than 15 minutes.
One thing I noticed is that Omea Reader really likes tabs.
This tab system keeps everything organized and easy to find.
At any given time, youll only be 3 clicks away from finding what you want.
If you think the interface looks a bit cramped, dont worry.
After stretching out the size or maximizing the window, it looks much cleaner and more spacious.
One benefit of Omea Reader is its built-in web surfing app.
choose a link in any RSS blog post and youll be able to browse it immediately.
Maybe theres an option I have to enable first, but I wasnt able to find it.
you could think of workspaces as profiles, if youd like.
And what if I want one blog for both Personal and Work?
Omea Readers workspaces let me do that easily.
I can set up a Personal workspace and a Work workspace.
So easy and so useful.
Omea Reader lets you customize the program to a certain extent.
