The Chromecast is a handy little rig.
For just $35, you get a simple hub that canserve as a media center.
Whenever someone on your online grid is casting to a Chromecast,everyAndroid machine receives a notification about it.
This is a problem for many reasons.
This is even worse if you’recasting something you’d rather not share.
Second, anyone can use this notification to control playback, which could interrupt your stream.
Pull down on the Chromecast entry with two fingers, and tap the gear on the left side.
The only option here isShow remote control notifications, which it’s possible for you to disable.
OpenSettings > Google > Google Castand you’ll see that the only option is alsoShow remote control notifications.
Shut that off to stop the notification.
By default, however, it’s annoying and intrusive.
