What Alexa Voice Commands Can I Use on My Xbox Series X|S?
Alexa is activated by saying “Alexa”, then your command.
Youll need to specify the name of the console when speaking the command.
Youll need to set your power mode toStandby, then enable digital assistants.
Press the Xbox button on your controller.
Scroll right toProfile & system(underneath your profile icon).
SelectGeneral>Sleep mode & startup.
Select theSleep modedrop-down menu, thenStandby.
Your console is now set to Standby, which allows it to turn on via external command.
Scroll down toDevices & Connections > Digital assistants.
Your Xbox Series X|S is now ready to connect to Alexa.
This is one ofmany Alexa skillsthat add additional functionality to Alexa.
bring up the Alexa app.
TapDevicesin the bottom right corner of your screen.
Search forXbox, then tapXbox Game Console.
TapContinueto confirm your Xbox is turned on, and you’re signed in.
Sign in with the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox.
The Alexa app may ask you to implement the Alexa app on your Xbox after completing the previous steps.
This is not necessary and can be skipped.
Youll now see your Xbox appear on the Alexa app’sDevicespage.
This means it has been successfully set up.
Simply tapSet Default Assistantinside the Alexa app to set this up.
