It’s tough to keep track of all the passwords you’ve set for every website you’ve visited.

It achieves this by eliminating the need for remembering multiple passwords.

For Windows users, Dashlane is available both as a web app and as a Windows app.

As such, Dashlane has decided to follow suit and adopt a web-first experience too.

In our example, we’re using Chrome, so the website takes us to the Chrome Web Store.

You may see something different, depending on your choice of surfing app.

As soon as the download finishes, the extension will take you to the Dashlane login page.

Login with your email and password (Logout first if you’re already logged in).

Click onSavewhen you get a pop-up from Dashlane.

And that’s it.

Eventually, Dashlane will save all your different passwords in a single, secure place.

No, you don’t have to do this right away.

Generating a new password in Dashlane

When you’ve successfully saved a password, you’ll get a Dashlane pop-up.

Click onSee it in Dashlaneto go to the passwords page.

Also, you’ll need to create a Master password.

To create a master password, shut the Dashlane app and drop off of the surfing app.

Now, enter again and tap on the Dashlane extension located in the top-right of your surfing app.

Next, slide in your registered email address and the six-digit security code sent to your email.

Set your master password here and click onLog in.

Scroll down and select theOpen the web appoption from the extension to get back to the Dashlane web app.

Navigate to the Passwords tab, and you’ll see your saved password here.

As you’re free to see, we have added a Facebook and Google account password already.

Dashlane will keep storing your new passwords here as you keep logging into the websites you frequent.

However, it can make it easier to create strong passwords that you don’t need to remember.

you’re free to use Dashlane’s password generator in one of two ways.

To get a new password, click onthe Dashlane iconin the extensions bar and selectGenerator.

So now you have super-strong passwords without needing to remember any of them.

And that’s all about storing your passwords on the Dashlane web app.

Of course, the process of setting up Dashlane will be similar on other browsers as well.

Apart from password management, Dashlane offers other mint features as well.

At least for now, as Dashlane plans to end the desktop support somewhere at the end of 2021.

But till then, it’s possible for you to safely access Dashlane on your Windows.

This app enables the autofill feature on your online window as you jot down in your email and passwords.

With the installation of the program, you’re all set to initiate the Dashlane app on your Windows.
