While this feature can make your work easier, it isn’t available by default.
To insert a Radio button, select theDevelopertab and go toControls > Insert.
There, clickForm Controlsand selectOption Button.
The cursor should now turn into a+icon.
Click anywhere inside the spreadsheet to insert the Radio button.
Currently, the button has no function, as you have to connect it to a cell.
There, select theControltab and use theCell linkfield to link it to a cell.
In general, you need two or more radio buttons to control your spreadsheet.
Once you add multiple radio buttons, they will be linked to the same cell.
As you select a different radio button, the linked cell will display a different value.
To do so, right-tap the radio button and selectEdit Text.
If you want to make Excel radio buttons really stand out, you could apply colors and borders.
Right-click one of the radio buttons, go toFormat Control, and open theColors and linestab.
To keep your buttons from moving all over the sheet, right-tap the radio button and go toFormat Control.
There, open thePropertiestab, check theMove but don’t size with the cellsoption, and clickOK.
This works fine if you’re working on a smaller spreadsheet with a few inserted objects.
In this case, select theHometab and head toEditing > Find & Select > Selection Pane.
