How Does Facebook Come Up With Its Friend Suggestions?

It’s in Facebook’s interest to suggest Facebook friends for you.
The more connections you have on the platform, the more likely you are to use it.
But it allows you to hide it temporarily.
Hiding the slider keeps it from coming up on your News feed for a while.
Some users also get friend suggestions via text and email, which could be frustrating.
After going through this process, Facebook will stop sending you these annoying notifications.
If you’re accessing Facebook on a computer, you could also disable this feature.
First, log into your Facebook account and grab the downward-facing triangle icon at the top right.
Click onSettings & Privacythere.
Next, click onSettings.
Scroll down the left menu until you findNotifications.
Scroll down and tap on thePeople You May Knowoption.
you’ve got the option to also disable all the notifications by turning off theAllow Notifications on Facebooktoggle.
Once you’ve disabled this feature and these alerts, you should be able to navigate Facebook in peace.
