News and Interests will tell you the weather of the city you’re traveling to in a snap.
The weather card of your location would be on the top right.
punch thethree-dots menunext to the city namein the screenshot below, the city is set to Florida.
SelectEdit locationand unitfrom the menu to fire up the edit window.
Then turn off theAlways detect my locationoption on top.
In the screenshot below, the search is for Pittsburgh.
you might also change the unit from here if you want:FahrenheitorCelsius.
The city will show up on the search bar.
For a detailed weather forecast, choose theSee full forecastbutton on the weather card.
press thethree-dots menuagain and selectEdit location and unit.
The information relating to these taskbar updates will show up in an expanded view on your feed.
However, if you want only the weather on the taskbar, there’s a snappy fix.
Right-click any blank space on the taskbar and selectNews and interestsin the context menu.
From the menu that opens on the side, selectReduce taskbar updates.
Now, you will only see the weather on your taskbar.
To start seeing other taskbar updates again, deselectReduce taskbar updatesin the context menu.
In the menu that opens selectShow icon only.
News and Interests will keep you updated on the weather.
