AMD has a wide range of performance-enhancing software under its belt.
Many of these programs are neatly packaged in AMD’s Adrenalin Edition.
However, AMD has now set its sights on pushing the limits of AMD Adrenalin even further.
AMD Announces HYPR-RX
During its “together we advance_gaming” 2022 event, AMD announced HYPR-RX.
AMD’s software is advertised as a one-click performance booster that will help you achieve improvements across the board.
To create HYPR-RX, AMD redesigned its existing technologies to work together simultaneously.

HYPR-RX combines AMD’s Radeon Boost, Anti-Lag,Super Resolution, and other technologies.
Think of HYPR-RX as an automatic car.
For AMD users, activating HYPR-RX is as simple as navigating to theGraphicstab inAMD Adrenalin.

Once it is released, there will be an option to enable HYPR-RX.
Click it and you are done.
It’s as simple as that.
However, HYPR-RX is not the holy grail of performance boosts.
you could already enable all the features included with HYPR-RX like Radeon Boost, Anti-Lag, and Super Resolution.
But this requires some knowledge of what each technology does and manually adjusting sliders can be a time-consuming task.
Furthermore, you cannot currently run AMD’s technologies together.
For example, Radeon Chill and Radeon Anti-Lag cannot be enabled at the same time.
With HYPR-RX enabled, they can.
Can HYPR-RX Compete With NVIDIA Reflex?
Similar to HYPR-RX, NVIDIA Reflex uses multiple technologies to improve your gaming experience.
The result is more fluid gameplay, which allows for precision aiming and improved reaction times.
That being said, NVIDIA Reflex isn’t trying to boost your FPS like AMD’s HYPR-RX.
That’s not to say AMD’s technology is better than NVIDIA’s.
After all, HYPR-RX hasn’t even been released yet.
According to AMD, HYPR-RX is slated for release in the first half of 2023.
Is HYPR-RX Right for You?
At the end of the day, HYPR-RX and NVIDIA Reflex are different beasts meant for different systems.
HYPR-RX will be compatible with AMD graphics cards and NVIDIA Reflex will only work with NVIDIA graphics cards.
