If you’re serious about using Reddit more privately, you should strongly consider using a randomly generated username.
You’ll get one when you first sign up for an account, but you might also tweak this.
Avoid using the same name that you use on other accounts.
Fortunately, Reddit has a feature where you might de-index your profile if you want to.
To do this, I hide active communities so that others can’t see them when viewing my profile.
To change this setting, I had to go to the Reddit web app rather than using my smartphone.
you’ve got the option to use an avatar on Reddit as soon as you sign up.
When browsing anonymously, none of your search or browsing history is saved.
This feature is only available on mobile devices.
