What’s your biggest webpage printing woe?
For me, it’s the header and footer information that gets printed automatically with every page.
Both Internet Explorer and Firefox make it easy to remove or include this header-footer information.
Removing header and footer information in Internet Explorer
SelectPrint Previewfrom the File menu on the menu bar.
ThePrint Previewwindow has a ‘Turn headers and footers on or off’ button on the top.
Toggle that to switch the visibility of the header and footer.
To permanently customized our print jobs, we need to head over toPage Setup.
WithPage Setupcomplete, all that is left is the finalPrintcommand.
AccessPage Setupfrom the File menu; go to the ‘Margins & Header/Footer’ tab.
Adding a custom field to the header and footer is slightly simpler than IE as no codes are involved.
SelectCustomfrom the drop-down menu and type your desired text in the pop-up.
Some headers and footers like page numbers and dates are often essential.
What we need to print or exclude depends on the content.
