And for Campfire Audio, producers of exceptionally high-quality IEMs, that time is now.
The Campfire Audio Orbit true wireless earbuds are a great proposition for two main reasons.
One, they look different.
that, for me, is a refreshing change of pace.
It’s certainly not for everyone though; my wife said the colorway was horrendous.
Either way, the Orbit will be a conversation starter, whether you like it or not.
Like Campfire Audio’s other audio hardware, the Orbit in-ear buds lack a stem.
Although, unlike most earbuds, the Orbit fits into your ear at a slightly unexpected angle.
Once in place, the earbuds didn’t move and were very comfortable.
In that, don’t be deceived by the photos.
These earbuds are not big.
Campfire Audio deserves another nod for the Orbit box, too.
The Campfire Audio app EQ is …odd.
You don’t see this on enough earbuds.
For the future, the Campfire Audio app could use a lick of paint.
You’ll particularly notice the low-end, especially if you’re coming from earbuds with a flatter tuning.
Still, the Campfire Audio Orbit earbuds sound fun and lively.
The bass-forward approach won’t suit everyone, mind.
