They can choose what to share and what not to share or decide not to share anything at all.

Open upSystem Preferenceson your Mac, and selectFamily Sharing.
In the Family Sharing prefs, tap onAdd Family Memberand enter their name or email address.
Then just follow the onscreen instructions.
This will allow you to start setting up your library and customize playlists.
That said, every once in a while, things don’t go as smoothly as planned.
Usually, a simple log-out and log-in or gadget restart should fix the issue.
