Tesla makes some of the best electric vehicles on the road.

Its vehicles are high quality, premium, and very quick. But not everything is perfect in Tesla Land.

Other manufacturers finish their vehicles in a variety of daring matte shades.

Unfortunately, when it comes to Tesla, the choices are scarce.

This is very strange for a company that prides itself on innovation above all else.

Another strange thing is the pricing scheme for the limited color options available.

Why is red twice as expensive?

You’ll have to ask Tesla.

Moving on tothe ultra-advanced Model X, things get even crazier.

Again, the only charge-free color option is white.

Splurging for black will set you back $1,500, and red is $2,500.

But, build quality issues continue to creep up on the giant automaker.

The infamous yoke steering machine is the latest subject of criticism from owners.

A great example of this is the central touchscreen and the amount of functionality it holds.

Of course, this makes the vehicle very versatile.

you’re able to even play games on your Tesla’s central screen.

It would also be awesome if Tesla could implement a dial for adjusting the volume.

In fact, batteries represent a huge percentage of the total price of an EV.

In the case of Tesla, the batteries are insanely expensive to replace.

The cost for a 75kWh battery was shown to be $17,500 on the EPC screenshot.

The price for a 90kWh battery was $21,000.

Elon Musk tweeted that vehicles made since November have the “push center for horn” functionality.

The Yoke

Speaking of the touch-sensitive controls on the yoke, the equipment itself is annoying to many people.

Not only is the build quality dubious, but the unit’s actual functionality has come into question.
