Yet, there are still some EVs that are considered forbidden fruit in the US market.

Most notably, NIO is an automaker that has yet to bring any of its models to the US.

NIO ET7

The NIO ET7 is an attractive luxury sedan that resembles a Tesla Model S quite a bit.

The rest of the car is beautiful, with smooth-flowing lines that put a Tesla to shame.

Nio also designed a great interior that includes a funky personal assistant that talks to the driver.

Its infotainment system is a pure Tesla copy though, especially the climate controls.

The only downside to this great EV is that it’s not for sale in the US.

In fact, the entire car’s design is extremely attractive and well-thought-out.

The interior is also tasteful and futuristic, especially the dedicated screens for each rearview camera.

One of the coolest Honda e touches is the implementation of cameras that replace each rearview mirror.

This makes the exterior appear ultra-slick and modern.

But, for the markets which value city cars, this vehicle holds a lot of appeal.

Mercedes-Benz EQA

Mercedes builds some ofthe best electric SUVs on the market, and the EQA is no exception.

This is the entry-level offering from the Mercedes EQ line of electric vehicles, and it’s a stunner.

The look is arguably more handsome than the boring EQS sedan, as well as its EQS SUV counterpart.

The EQA is much smaller, so it appears sportier by default.

Basically, anything with an SUV form factor and a premium badge will sell well in the US market.

NIO ES8

The ES8 is another excellent NIO product that isn’t available in the US.

This specific NIO is an SUV and a very handsome one at that.

Perhaps NOMI is a gimmick at the present moment.

It’s definitely head and shoulders over traditional voice activated personal assistants that seem boring and robotic.

The ID.3 might look like a Golf, but it’s unmistakably an electric car.

The exterior has the typical EV smoothness, and the rear end looks menacing with the blacked-out trim.

Inside the ID.3 looks very much like an EV, especially with the prerequisite white trim surfaces inside.
